Plot
The story of The School – White Day revolves around a high school student named Hui-min. He always finds his homework boring. But because his parents forced him, he had to go to school every day with a depressed spirit.
As usual, Yeondu Middle School ended its last class when the sun was out. Hui-min was on his way back home, but he suddenly realized he had left something at school so he went back and looked for it. At school, he meets a strange female student who has forgotten his purpose. The two talked and explored a few places in Yeondu that few students go to. And then, something strange happened, making Hui-min and his friend feel trapped in Yeondu. Everything was engulfed in a dark and eerie silence. Up ahead, no one knows what’s going on? What will Hui-min do? Will he be able to return home?
Style play
The opening of the game is a short video, summarizing the life of the main character Hui-min and the setting at Yeondu High School. You will play as Hui-min, interacting with people and writing the rest of his life story.
The control in The School – White Day is a bit complicated, because it has both role-playing elements, not simply interaction and selection like what Death School has shown. You use Joystick to control Hui-min to move to locations. Touch the action buttons on the right corner of the screen to perform corresponding actions such as running, sitting, picking up objects. In the process, items will also appear. Of course, they all have a purpose. You need to collect them and find out the mysteries at this school. I thought that the key that I discovered on the other table was just a decoration, until I came across a locked door, I needed the key to be able to escape the pursuit of the guy. Aggressive defense!
Don’t forget your most important goal is to protect Hui-Min’s safety and help him leave Yeondu. From Hui-Min’s own perspective, you’ll interact with other characters and make decisions.
