Background
The Siege of Dragonspear begins with the Forgotten Realms event in the city of Baldur’s Gate. The main character is a warrior Caelar Argent – who leads the army of Flaming Fist to fight against Sarevok. He is trying to ally with other forces to attack Dragonspear castle.
During the great conquest, Caelar Argent was led by a mysterious man. He taught him fighting skills, as well as strategies to fight the evil alliance. Join Caelar Argent and help him complete his mission to protect Baldur’s Gate.
Style play
Overall, the story of Siege of Dragonspear unfolds in a linear fashion. In it, you will play as Caelar Argent, conquer locations in Baldur’s Gate and unlock new content.
Siege of Dragonspear has very interesting content. There, events continuously unfold, drawing you into a series of extremely dramatic quests. You will meet NPCs, interact and chat with them. You get more information about Baldur’s Gate and the enemies to kill.
During the gameplay, the character will develop levels. Quests and enemies in general will have their respective difficulty levels. That’s when interesting things happen. You will always feel there is something to discover, to grow and face many dangerous enemies
The battles are also quite fierce. When you enter dungeons or monster territories, you will have to fight a large army. They may even spawn continuously to prevent you from going further into the territory. Therefore, you need to focus on character development, sometimes recruiting some more teammates to be able to fight together. Forgotten Realms is a long campaign and it is not easy. Because the enemy alliance is really large and has a solid foundation.
More information, the map of the game compared to the original version has been reduced. You can’t even return to some previously visited locations, and this leads to side quests that can be skipped. So, check the quest list or the NPCs on the map if you want to experience it to the fullest.
Loots and items
Siege of Dragonspear has a diverse loot system. You can get loot when completing quests, requests from NPCs, or when fighting monsters.
These loots include health, MP or experience boosters for the characters. But they can also be equipment and resources to upgrade, yielding stat points.
