ShaqFu: A Legend Reborn is the latest action role-playing game of the publisher Mad Dog Games. The game is directly inspired by the original version of ShaqFu – a fighting game released in 1994. Although the original version did not achieve much success, the publisher Mad Dog still decided to bring the legendary game. Story
In the original version, the story ShaqFu tells about basketball player Shaquille O’Neal on his way to Japan to participate in a charity tournament, but after meeting martial arts master Leotsu he studied martial arts and Go on a journey to rescue the boy Nezu in another dimension. Different from the above story, ShaqFu: A Legend Reborn tells about Shaq Fei Hung – a poor orphan boy of China. Evil forces are rising and are sent down to Earth. They want to rob ancient relics and turn humans into slaves. Now, the destiny of humanity is in the hands of Shaq Fei Hung. In the journey to destroy the bad guys, you will meet a lot of different enemies from small sized ones to huge Bosses with terrible power. Since the game belongs to the beat ’em up genre, players need to be fully focused in the matches without having to care about anything else, use your strength and martial arts skills , smashing the people around, not giving them a chance to escape. There are quite a few virtual keys corresponding to actions for you to choose from, and each perfect combination will create a huge damage combo.
Besides, you can develop your character by buying more equipment and learning new combos to deal more damage. Some items or weapons that appear anywhere on the battlefield will be useful tools for you to use to attack enemies. The game lets you transform into a diesel-powered cyborg, roast your opponents, or you can even transform into a cactus and launch spikes at your enemies. However, you do not always have this ability, so use special skills wisely.
Each level takes you to a different place such as a volcano, arena, street, beach, etc. At the end of the level are the big bosses, you have to defeat them if you want to advance to the next level. When you kill monsters, you also get gold and experience points. In some levels, you will learn new skills.
