About Radio Commander
Radio Commander is a tactical role-playing game from the publisher Games Operators SA This game allows you to become intelligence soldiers on the battlefield. You will lead the American platoons involved in the war against Vietnam in the mid-20th century.
Violent, racist, cruel, vulgar, Radio Commander realistically portrays the harsh reality of a senseless war. The game contains some audio recordings that may not be suitable for people under the age of 16.
Style play
In Radio Commander, you will play as a radio intelligence soldier nicknamed “Papa Bear”, commanding two armies Alpha and Bravo. At the old tent far from the front line, along with a radio station and a map of the area. Your task is to put information about unit location, enemies, neutral troops, then on the map and radio announcements to the army. Give precise orders and try to minimize casualties for your platoon.
The radio in Radio Commander is capable of handling simple commands. Use the spacebar to open the radio, press the unit number for which you want to receive a report or issue a command.
When enemies or suspicious movements are detected, units will communicate to notify each other. On the map, units are denoted by icons and you can see them moving close to each other. Once contacts are confirmed, the machine will automatically ping again the coordinates of the last seen platoon. You can check it by clicking on the radio message record. Place markers of enemy troops to track their movements, if there is anything abnormal you can promptly notify your platoon.
During the battle, you will be provided with necessary information such as the number of wounded, troop status, ammo supply and enemy location. In the event of an emergency, you can replace the commander and announce the evacuation of everyone.
Realistic war simulation
Not performing the fighting phase like other games, but Radio Commander still brings intense battles, simulating the tense, fierce atmosphere of war.
