About Knighthood
When you think of King, you immediately think of the world’s most popular puzzle game series, Candy Crush Saga. However, have you ever thought, a role-playing game developed by King would be like? I don’t really know either. I downloaded this game and experienced it for the first time, and what I thought at the moment was that King really knows how to surprise their players. It is well built in all three aspects, including graphics, plot and gameplay. Specifically, please follow the next part of the article to capture more information.
Plot
Astellan is a peaceful land, formerly guarded by the Range Knights. But it wasn’t long before Lord Karnon rose up after thousands of years of being locked in a dungeon, destroying the lives of all its inhabitants and corrupting the defenders.
Style play
In this thrilling turn-based action-adventure, a hero with a powerful gauntlet will save his kingdom from chaos. So, your first mission is to become the upright Rage Knight to prove you can take on the task – as well as master the powerful weapons and armor – equipped for this mission.
You will fight your way through fields, villages and temples, facing goblins, wolves and even bears. And that’s just before you leave your home town of Astellan to face hordes of undead warriors and worse.
After hitting enough hits, you can summon a pair of heroes to help them with their own special powers. They can even do a heavier attack if you wait until your fury is maxed. For example, the skilled archer Ash with the ability Rain of Fire will burn a group of enemies and gradually reduce their health over 3 turns. Grimm’s lce Needles can freeze enemies on the spot. Or more simply, you just need to rely on the terrifying power of the brutal Halmar’s baton. Such processes run throughout the plot. Difficulties will gradually increase and you need to find ways to raise your strength higher to overcome challenges. If you sometimes feel like you need someone’s help, don’t forget that you still have Mr Drakeson, who coached and guided you from the very beginning!
World map
The map is designed like the puzzles in Candy Crush Saga. You must defeat each group of enemies in turn to unlock the next part of the journey. The first part talks about the beginnings of the Range Knight, with the help of Mr Drakeson. Next is Seacroft, which provides the necessary equipment for the endless journey ahead.
The heroes
Each hero and weapon is effective against a certain type of enemy. So each encounter becomes a puzzle of strategy. Do you finish off one who’s lagging behind, or take away the enemy’s shield so they have nothing to shield from your next attack? Will you unleash the ultimate finishing blow to increase damage or summon allies to heal? Beautifully stylized animations transport you into a world full of characters and fun slow-motion shots that make your attacks more powerful.
Hero upgrade
This is an indispensable element in any role-playing game. And Knighthood is no exception. You can upgrade equipment to make your hero stronger. While the monsters are constantly becoming more aggressive and stronger, you also need to develop your ability to not be defeated on the battlefield. Currently, there are parts that can be upgraded such as beauty, torso, arms, weapons, cape, shoulder armor, legs, and gloves. In the first levels, they only require gold coins. But to a certain point, you will have to use rubies – the premium currency to upgrade.
Graphics
There are two things to say about Knighthood’s graphics. Firstly, they are designed to be optimized and work smoothly on many devices, including low-end phones. The graphics technology that King uses in their games is highly compatible, and the actions and effects work well. Second, beautiful graphics, cartoon-style design, bright colors.
