The ladder of survival and your choices will determine the future
Based on the law of survival and the progressions of Maslow’s tower, our character will have 3 indicators to measure “fitness”: Health / Food / Happiness. For every job you do, you have more or less points in one of the above indicators. At first, with nothing in hand, you can choose to do whatever you can as long as you bring food and drink and a place to sleep. After that, find a really stable job, the money is fine, just hoping to be able to buy necessities for myself.
