Plot
Grow Idle Archer tells the story of a young hero’s fight against monsters.
Apparently, someone opened the gates of hell, allowing monsters and demons to spill over into the human world. And now they are everywhere. They destroy and bring death wherever they go. With the responsibility of a hero, with a bow and arrow in hand, you must stop those bad things and bring peaceful life to people.
Style play
Grow Idle Archer brings idle gameplay. It is so simple that you do not need to touch the screen, but the character still automatically fights, defeats the opponent and goes to the next level.
However, the game does not continue in this way forever, because the enemies you encounter will gradually become stronger and harder to defeat. In the first 3 levels, my character passed in the blink of an eye. But by the 4th level, there are 3 new types of enemies. They have more health points, making me have to shoot a lot of arrows to get through the level.
Over time, the higher the level you fight, the more opponents there are and the more health they have. But that’s not all. Worse is that the “time attack” of those enemies is shrinking. Usually, for levels below 20, the “time attack” is 12-15 seconds. They are like a countdown timer. When the time runs out, the enemy counterattacks and your character doesn’t have much of a chance to survive. So you need to defeat them, before the “time attack” runs out.
Upgrade
As can be seen, Grow Idle Archer also focuses on combat speed. To get good speed, you have to go through the upgrade process. In terms of weapons, there are two types of upgrades, including bow upgrades and arrow upgrades.
With arrows, when they are at a higher level, the damage becomes higher and the number of bows in each shot also increases. Initially 2, then 3, 4 and more.
As for bows and arrows, this is a kind of speed upgrade. The wait time to launch the next shot will be reduced, depending on the level. Maybe 300%, 500%, 1000% attack speed and gradually progress to continuous state. Of course, the drag is also improved, and that helps contribute to the increased damage.
Learn new skills
Along with weapons, skills are what your hero needs to defeat the enemy. The skill will buff more power and add attack effects to make the enemy die faster.
Grow Idle Archer has quite a few skills including some active and passive skills. You should learn them as soon as you can.
With active skills, you need to touch the screen to use. For example, Magic Steel Arrow creates an iron arrow with 125% damage, Energy Wave with 350% power. Or Binding Trap immobilizes enemies for 3s. However, they have a timeout. You will have to wait a few seconds to use it again.
With passive skills, you also have to wait. But the advantage of these skills is that it automatically activates when ready.
Game mode
There are three game modes, including story, tower defense and tower of reincarnation (Town Reincarnation).
In it, the plot has the same gameplay as I mentioned above. Tower defense is shown like Plants vs Zombies 2. However, you can’t add more defense forces, but can only increase your own strength to fight the enemy.
